Amethyst Prong Stud Earrings
Sterling Silver stud earrings with prong set round Amethysts. The earring backs are also Sterling Silver.
I mix the metal for casting myself. My Sterling Silver is a mix of 92.5% Fine Silver with 7.5% Copper alloy to aid in the melting process. My Copper pieces are alloyed with Sterling Silver to make them a little more hypoallergenic. I never use Nickel in my castings. All of my metal is purchased from Rio Grande in New Mexico or from Stuller in Louisiana or upcycled from my stock.
Most of the gemstones that I use are upcycled, which means they may have small scratches or scuffs. Upcycling allows me to offer fantastic gemstones at prices that make them attainable for everyone. Many of my ring molds are of vintage/antique rings; this allows me to offer a modern ring with a distinct vintage look.
All purchases come in an anti-tarnish pouch to protect each piece from oxidation when not being worn. All handmade items are stamped with my custom makers mark.
I DO NOT accept returns for buyer’s remorse, but if you really have a problem, convo me and we can see if we can work something out. I want people to wear and love my jewelry. I am generally willing to workout a trade toward another piece or a custom order if you are not 100% satisfied.
I do not offer or accept any returns of custom orders for any reason.
Items are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 90 days from date of purchase. Please contact me if you have any issues with your jewelry, including ring resizing. I offer one free resizing per ring. I do not guarantee against normal wear and tear or wearer fault, i.e.; wearing jewelry while showering, swimming, mixing concrete etc.
Steampunk Jewelry Care and Infomation
All watch parts are obtained by me from local jewelers, other Etsy retailers and at local sales. After the cases and straps are removed for scrap, I personally strip each movement for parts. I do not buy mass produced “gears”
Jewelry made with watch parts should not be worn in water. Water, salt water and specifically chlorine or bleach can rust watch parts and/or remove detailing on watch faces. I have covered parts of some of my watch part jewelry with a liquid glass acrylic to help make it more wearer friendly.
Watch movements may contain Nickel.
